MFA: Mandatory Transition to Microsoft Authenticator App
Legacy Multifactor Factor Authentication (MFA) methods (Voice calls and Text/SMS) have been phased out by Microsoft because they're outdated and less secure, making it easier for attackers to compromise your account.
As of October 10, 2024, you are required to use the Microsoft Authenticator Application on your mobile device to access your Sinclair files. Use of SMS texts or voice calls for authentication are longer accepted.
GETTING STARTED
Setting up the Microsoft Authenticator app is simple and only takes a few minutes. Here’s how to get started:
- Download the Microsoft Authenticator app from your app store.
- Follow this MFA guide for instructions.
- If you have any questions or need help, please contact your local IT representative.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
We understand that changes can be difficult, but your security and ease of access are our top priorities. We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.
If you have any questions or need help, please contact your local IT representative.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
