The KATU Engineering Department is typically staffed Monday through Friday. Weekend emergencies should be directed to the on-call engineer.

At the PC in front of the Newsroom Camera, there is the capability to record the computer audio and video. This is located in the Router as CAM 14.

If there are problems, check the following:

* No Audio: If audio is coming from the computer's internal speaker (i.e. under the desk), click on the speaker icon at the bottom-right of the task bar, and change the audio device.

* No Video: Make sure the patch cable hasn't been pulled in the Core. The patch goes from Rack 103, patch 103-L-29 "NEWS ROOM2" to Rack 102, patch 102-B-14 "RTR In14".

NOTE: Technically, this is still a "temporary" connection.
