NextGen TV Broadcast (ATSC 3.0)

Here in Portland KATU (2), KOIN (6), KGW (8), KOPB (10), KPTV (12), KRCW (32), and KPDX (49) are all broadcasting their respective primary channels (the .1 channels) in the NextGen TV (aka ATSC 3.0) standard.

Here at KATU, we are upconverting our existing programming to add HDR (high dynamic range) for receivers compatible with the Technicolor SL-HDR1 format.

In order to receive NextGen TV broadcasts, you'll need a compatible television or receiver and we've tested the following:
